Description

Parksafe PSC66 integrated brake-light camera for Ford Transit Custom and Volkswagen Transporter T7 models from 2024 onwards. The supplier lists both vehicle platforms as compatible because the 2024-onward versions share the same chassis. Confirm model year and brake-light assembly before ordering.

The camera replaces the vehicle brake-light unit and supplies a rear-view image to a compatible monitor or head unit. It supports switchable CVBS/D1 and AHD 720p output, with switchable PAL/NTSC format and parking guidelines. Specifications include 150° viewing angle, IP68 protection, 12 V DC input, 1/3-inch PC2399 CMOS/AHD sensor, 700 TVL CVBS / 800 TVL AHD, 5 infrared lights, 10 m night vision, 1.9 mm lens and 4-pin aviation connection. Operating temperature: −20°C to +70°C. ECE R10, UKCA and CE approvals.

Box contents: brake-light unit, gasket, fly lead and 10 m 4-pin aviation extension lead. Supply only. A compatible display is required; installation is separate.

Compatibility and installation

Subject to vehicle and stereo compatibility. Optional installation with a compatible stereo adds 2 hours labour (£192 including VAT), subject to installation circumstances. Any extra adapters, parts or labour will be quoted and agreed before proceeding.
