Supported Meta Trak packages use wireless links between tracking and immobilisation components, allowing them to be installed in separate concealed locations. This describes communication between components; it does not mean every device is wire-free or independent of vehicle power. Wiring and power requirements depend on the selected product.
Meta Trak can be installed discreetly, but GPS positioning still depends on satellite reception. Buildings, underground parking and signal interference can reduce accuracy or prevent updates. Reporting also depends on mobile coverage and the fitted product; a concealed installation does not guarantee an underground location fix.
Depending on the product and subscription, Meta Trak app or web services may include vehicle location, alerts, journey information and system status. Availability depends on setup, power, satellite reception and mobile coverage.
