Battery fitting is additional to any new camera installation. Standard connection consumables are included.

Thinkware iVolt BAB-50 external dash-camera battery

Power parking surveillance from a dedicated rechargeable battery. The BAB-50 charges while driving and supplies the dash camera while parked, reducing reliance on the vehicle starter battery.

  • 4,500mAh / 57.6Wh LiFePO4 battery
  • Approximate use time: 20 hours for one camera or 16 hours for two cameras, depending on power consumption and conditions
  • Approximately 45-minute hardwired recharge under suitable conditions
  • Compact 165.4 x 131.2 x 36.8mm housing

Optional professional hardwired installation

Add battery fitting for £80 plus VAT (£96 including VAT). Standard fitting includes secure mounting, compatible hardwired charging and output connections, consumables and parking-mode testing. This charge covers the battery installation; fitting a new dash camera is a separate option on the camera listing.

The dash camera is not included. Camera and vehicle suitability must be checked. OBD-II power cables are not used for battery fitting.

Electric and hybrid vehicles, unusual charging systems, difficult access or additional cable routing may require extra work. Any extra charge will be agreed before fitting.
