Marine multifunction-display integration

Connect a compatible Rockford Fosgate PMX-5CAN or PMX-8BB marine source unit to a supported multifunction display using the NMEA 2000 entertainment standard. Compatible combinations can provide source selection, playback and audio-level control from the display. The available controls depend on the source, display and installed software.

Compatibility must be checked before ordering: provide the exact source-unit model, MFD model and software versions. Only combinations in the manufacturer’s compatibility guidance are supported. The published Raymarine combinations require LightHouse II R17 or later; this is not a guarantee for every Raymarine display or later platform. Selected Garmin models have separate requirements. NMEA 2000 connectivity alone does not establish compatibility. Firmware updates may require an authorised Rockford Fosgate dealer and are not included.

Supplied as one interface module with attached leads. Source unit, multifunction display and any additional network hardware are not included. Installation is not included; check requirements with a suitably qualified marine installer. This is not a vehicle steering-wheel CAN interface. No immersion or pressure-washing rating is claimed.

Check the manufacturer’s exact source/display compatibility guidance before ordering. Do not assume a newer display or software platform is interchangeable with a listed combination.
