Description
Required stereo components
One Kenwood DMX6523DABS receiver in the chosen supply-only or existing standard workshop-installation variation, one Connects2 CTKFD88 fitting kit and one Kenwood DAB-A1 active DAB aerial. Components use their current linked prices; no discount is claimed. The fitting kit includes its specified fascia, interface, aerial adapter and CTMULTILEAD.2 patch lead. Do not add another patch lead automatically.
Exact Ford configuration
For selected Ford Transit V363 vehicles built 2015–2021 WITHOUT an original OEM display and with the correct dashboard, original radio and matching connectors. This does not cover later generations, other display configurations, factory amplified systems or unverified original cameras. Check actual trim, bracket alignment, chassis clearance and safe control access before purchase or installation.
Suitable working hazard/locking controls and correct safety-indicator or trim hardware are required. Assess safe transfer of compatible original parts first; replacement parts are needed only where originals are missing, unsuitable or cannot be transferred. Never remove or replace a required passenger-airbag warning indicator with a card holder. Do not assume reuse works on every dashboard. Any required additional vehicle parts must be separately identified and priced.
The included steering-control interface is analogue, not a promise of CAN-derived reverse, speed, parking or display signals. Supported volume/track controls depend on exact vehicle setup. Configure CTMULTILEAD.2 for the exact Kenwood wired steering input before power is applied, following its manufacturer guide; do not use the Pioneer jack configuration or confuse steering input with the power-remote wire.
Required DAB aerial
The Kenwood DAB-A1 is included as a required linked component. Confirm suitable glazing, earth connection, safe airbag-clear cable routing and receiver antenna-power setup. Its fitment guide specifies Kenwood digital-radio use; no universal cross-brand antenna compatibility is promised. Additional aerial routing or nonstandard work must be assessed separately.
Optional new reversing camera
Select one Pioneer ND-BC9 only if a new aftermarket camera is wanted. It is a composite NTSC RCA video camera with its specified wiring and requires appropriate separately wired ignition-switched 12 V power and a suitable reverse-trigger arrangement. The receiver supports the corresponding rear-camera video input. This is not an AHD camera, a brake-light replacement camera or an original Ford camera-retention adapter.
The camera gallery image illustrates this optional component; it is not included unless selected. Actual mounting location, visibility, cable length and protected route must be checked. No original-camera, factory USB, microphone or amplifier retention is automatically included.
Installation choice and pricing
Supply only includes no labour. The standard installation choice includes 2 hours of stereo fitting (£192 including VAT) plus the required half-hour DAB aerial installation (£48 including VAT): 2.5 hours and £240 including VAT labour in total. It does NOT include installation of the optional reversing camera. Camera mounting, wiring and van cable routing are separately quoted and agreed before work; no fixed camera-fitting charge is applied here. Extra interfaces, coding, trim changes or unusual routing are also separately assessed. Do not assume delivery is waived when fitting is selected.
Provide production date, original radio/display, audio system, dashboard/connectors and camera requirements for confirmation. The zero configuration charge groups separately charged products; the full payable total includes VAT once. All safety functions must be retained.
Base package price excluding VAT: £471.15 (supply-only). Optional extras are not included. With the standard installation option: £671.15 excluding VAT.
