Description

JVC CS-DR1700C 170mm 2-way component car speakers. Nominal impedance: 4 ohms. Power handling: 55W RMS per channel. Carbon-mica woofer cones and separate PEI tweeters. Fit and retain the supplied crossover protection; separate tweeter mounting is required. These are passive speakers requiring a suitable head unit or external amplifier; an amplifier is not included.

Compatibility and installation

Check mounting diameter, cut-out, depth, window travel, wiring connectors, grille clearance and amplifier/head-unit impedance compatibility. Vehicle-specific mounting rings and wiring adapters are additional. Retain appropriate tweeter protection and crossover filtering. These are not guaranteed direct-fit vehicle kits. Installation and labour are quoted separately.
