Description

A JL Audio RD1000/1 Class-D mono amplifier for subwoofers, rated at 600 W RMS into 4 ohms or 1000 W RMS into 2 ohms at 14.4 V. It includes a 50–500 Hz low-pass filter, variable bass boost and an LED clipping indicator for setup.

Installation and compatibility

Minimum total speaker load is 2 ohms. Professional installation, correctly sized power/ground wiring and external fuse protection are required; the recommended power/ground size is 4 AWG and the specified fuse rating is 80 A. Wiring and fuses are not included. Speaker-level connection requires a suitable speaker-wire-to-RCA adapter. The optional RBC-1 remote level control is sold separately. Verify the vehicle electrical system and subwoofer wiring before fitting.
