The JBL TRIP is a self-contained portable Bluetooth handsfree speaker that clips to a suitable car sun visor. It plays compatible phone calls and streamed audio through its own speaker; it is not an aftermarket head unit or a vehicle-wiring integration interface.

Supplied unit

One JBL TRIP with detachable visor clip, USB-to-microUSB charging cable and original product paperwork. A mains charger, vehicle USB power adaptor and smartphone are not included. Charging uses the microUSB connection and a suitable USB power source in accordance with the supplied instructions.

Compatibility and mounting

This legacy Bluetooth 3.0 model supports HFP/HSP calling and A2DP/AVRCP audio profiles. Confirm that the intended phone supports the required functions before purchase. Compatibility with every current phone, voice assistant, navigation app or operating-system version is not promised. No app subscription, vehicle integration, software update entitlement or future online service is included.

Check that the clip fits the intended visor securely without obstructing vision, vehicle controls or an airbag area. The phone must be paired with the speaker for Bluetooth functions. Set up the device while safely parked and follow the product instructions.

Legacy stock

This is a legacy model offered from remaining supplier stock, not a promise of continuing production or replenishment. It has an internal rechargeable battery; a fixed runtime or battery-health test result is not promised. Confirm any particular compatibility or charging requirements with us before ordering.
