Description

Legacy wired iPod and auxiliary-audio interface for a compatible Volkswagen factory radio. It connects to the original CD-changer input and uses a supplied 30-pin Apple dock lead; it is not an FM transmitter.

Installation and compatibility

For selected Volkswagen RCD200, RCD210, RCD300, RCD310, RCD500, RNS510 and MFD2 factory radios with the compatible 12-pin CD-changer connection within the Quadlock connector. Confirm the actual radio model, connector and CD-changer input before ordering; vehicle make or year alone is not enough. Professional installation is recommended. Existing CD-changer retention is not promised. Playback control and charging depend on the connected legacy device and factory radio. This is not a Lightning or USB-C interface and does not add Bluetooth, CarPlay or Android Auto. No modern-iPhone compatibility is claimed.

What is supplied

One interface with vehicle connection loom and legacy 30-pin iPod lead. A separate auxiliary audio cable is required for AUX use. No Apple device or factory radio is included. The image is an interface-family illustration.

Supply only. Contact for install price. Required wiring, adapters, mounting work and labour are quoted after assessing your vehicle. We fit equipment supplied by Lehane Autos; customer-supplied parts are not accepted. Physical delivery is calculated at checkout. Collection requires confirmed stock and an appointment.
