Description

The Connects2 CTASKUSB003 adds supported USB/SD music playback and auxiliary audio through a compatible original radio’s CD-changer connection.

Limited offered application

Skoda Roomster, 2006–2010 only, with a compatible original Blaupunkt Audience, Stream or Symphony Ver.2 radio and the matching Quadlock CD-changer connection. Before ordering, a professional installer must identify the exact radio and confirm its changer protocol, available port, supplied loom and required power/earth connections. A vehicle year or similar-looking connector alone is not sufficient.

Fabia, Octavia, Superb, other model years, Bolero, Amundsen, navigation systems, aftermarket radios and unlisted radio versions are outside this offered scope. This is not represented as an interface for every Skoda factory system.

Offered kit

One CTASKUSB003 interface module with vehicle connection loom, USB extension cable and auxiliary audio lead, as illustrated. The pictured offered unit has USB, SD-card and line-in connections. Storage media, radio, Bluetooth module and installation are not included.

Legacy media and controls

Plan for compatible MP3 files on small FAT32-formatted media, no larger than 4GB. Arrange CD-numbered folders according to the supplied instructions and the radio’s changer capability, with no more than 99 tracks in each folder. Folder count and available control functions depend on the original radio; confirm intended media and operation before purchase.

The auxiliary input carries audio only, not full control of the connected player. An original CD changer must be disconnected for this installation; simultaneous changer operation is not promised. The separately connected loom feeds and earth must be assessed and installed professionally using the correct supplied instructions; no universal wiring configuration is claimed.

This discontinued legacy model is offered from residual supplier stock; no future replenishment is promised. It is not a modern phone-integration or charging solution. Larger media, every SD format, WMA, USB hard drives, current phones, iPods, firmware updates, future replenishment and full vehicle-function retention are not guaranteed.
