Description

The Connects2 CTAPGUSB011 adds supported USB music playback through a compatible original Peugeot radio’s CD-changer connection.

Limited vehicle and radio scope

  • Peugeot 207: 2006–2012.
  • Peugeot 407: 2005–2010.
  • Peugeot 807: 2005–2010.

Only compatible Siemens VDO/Blaupunkt RD4 factory radios with the matching CD-changer connection in the Quadlock plug are included in this scope. BEFORE ordering, have a professional installer identify the exact radio and confirm its changer capability, connector arrangement and this supplied loom. Vehicle year alone is insufficient. RD3, navigation systems, aftermarket radios and unlisted applications are not covered.

Offered kit

One CTAPGUSB011 interface module, vehicle connection loom and USB extension cable. Radio, storage device and installation are not included. This offered version has USB input only; no auxiliary audio input, SD-card slot or Bluetooth is included.

Legacy operation

The interface emulates a CD changer. The original Peugeot guide specifies folders named DISC1 through DISC6 and recommends no more than 99 music files in each folder. Use compatible MP3 files and have your intended storage device and supported radio controls checked before purchase. The existing changer connection is disconnected for installation; simultaneous original CD-changer operation is not promised.

This is a legacy USB-storage interface, not a universal connection for phones, iPods, laptops or hard drives. No modern-device compatibility, charging performance, firmware update, future replenishment or all-function retention guarantee is made. Professional installation must follow the instructions for the supplied interface and factory system.
