Description

The Connects2 CTAMZBT002 adds A2DP music streaming, hands-free calling and an auxiliary audio input to a compatible original Mazda Panasonic radio through its CD-changer connection. It is not an FM transmitter or replacement stereo.

Bounded application

Mazda 3 and Mazda 5 2009–2014, Mazda 6 and Mazda CX-7 2009–2012, with the compatible original Panasonic radio and matching connections. These dates are a bounded application guide, not a guarantee for every trim or radio option.

Confirm before purchase

Have your installer identify the original Panasonic radio, available CD-changer connection, vehicle connectors and correct harness arrangement before ordering. Any additional installation requirements must be established in advance. This is the CTAMZBT002 kit, not the earlier CTAMZBT001: no connector, firmware, MX-5 or RX-8 compatibility is transferred between them.

One CTAMZBT002 interface kit with its vehicle connection wiring and wired microphone. The supplier promotional image is a generic family illustration and does not certify the exact Mazda harness arrangement. A smartphone, radio, auxiliary device and installation are not included. Confirm the supplied wiring arrangement against the original vehicle connections before purchase.

Legacy device compatibility

Streaming and calls require a compatible device and appropriate Bluetooth functions. Compatibility with every current phone, operating system, application or service is not guaranteed. No Bluetooth version, USB audio playback, charging performance, universal steering-control operation or complete retention of every original radio function is promised.
