Description

Connects a compatible legacy Apple player through the original radio’s external CD-changer input. Supported track and playlist controls are operated through the original radio; functions depend on the radio and connected device. AUX input is available for analogue audio; the optional 3.5 mm AUX cable is sold separately and does not provide track control. The original CD changer must be disconnected.

What is supplied

One vehicle-specific interface with CD-changer connection harness and Apple dock connection cable. Apple player and vehicle radio are not included.

Compatibility and installation

For compatible BMW Business radios using the older 17-way round-pin radio system and its 10-pin CD-changer connection, including appropriate E46 Business-radio applications. Not for the later flat-pin/Quadlock version, iDrive or DSP-equipped radios. Navigation installations are outside this listing’s confirmed fitment; check the actual radio and changer connection before ordering. For compatible legacy Apple players with a 30-pin dock connector. Confirm the exact player generation and any charging requirement before ordering. No Lightning, USB-C, current iPhone, CarPlay or Android Auto compatibility is claimed.

Supply only. Contact for install price. Required wiring, adapters, mounting work and labour are quoted after assessing your vehicle. We fit equipment supplied by Lehane Autos; customer-supplied parts are not accepted. Physical delivery is calculated at checkout. Collection requires confirmed stock and an appointment.
