Description

The Connects2 CTAARUSB001 adds USB/SD music playback and an auxiliary audio input through a compatible original radio’s CD-changer connection.

Limited application

  • Alfa Romeo 147, 2001–2007.
  • Alfa Romeo 156, 2000–2006.
  • Alfa Romeo GT, 2004–2008.

These applications require the original Blaupunkt radio with the matching Mini ISO CD-changer connection. Before purchase, a professional installer must confirm the exact head unit, connector, available port and supplied harness. Other radios, navigation systems and applications outside this list are not covered. This is not a Nissan adapter.

Offered kit

One CTAARUSB001 interface with vehicle connection loom, USB extension lead and auxiliary audio lead. USB memory stick, SD card, external audio device, radio, optional Bluetooth module and installation are not included.

Legacy media and operation

Plan for MP3 files on FAT32-formatted USB or SD media of no more than 4GB. Files must be arranged in CD-numbered folders according to the original guide and the radio’s CD-changer capability, with no more than 99 tracks per folder. Have your intended media and radio operation checked before ordering. Do not assume support for larger storage, every file format, smartphones, iPods, USB hard drives or current operating systems.

Music track and folder selection depends on the original radio and supported controls. The auxiliary input carries audio only and does not provide full control of the connected device. An existing original CD changer must be disconnected for this installation. Follow the correct supplied instructions and use a professional installer.

This discontinued interface is offered from current supplier stock. No modern-phone charging performance, Bluetooth capability without a separate compatible module, firmware update, future replenishment or universal function-retention promise is made.
