For Alpine INE-F904D and INE-F904DC only. Selected Polo 6R June 2009–March 2014, white multifunction display, original radio without CAR button, matching Quadlock, standard unamplified audio and no factory camera. Use the exact INE-F904D/DC mounting manual and its permitted screen positions, not F905 dimensions. Manufacturer kit compatibility does not certify screen clearance on your dashboard. Before ordering, provide dashboard photos and obtain installer confirmation of mounting position, ventilation and unobstructed airbags, hazard switch, controls, gauges, warning indicators, driver view and gear/steering movement. Do not install if safe clearance cannot be achieved. Direct Alpine CAN-UART is included; no universal patch lead is needed. No original USB socket retention. These models have ONE USB connection and wired CarPlay/Android Auto; do not assume a second charging port or wireless phone integration. DAB aerial is separate. Existing stereo installation option remains subject to its scope; aerial installation, coding and extra work are not automatically included.

    KIT-HALO-VW303 includes mounting parts, direct Alpine CAN-UART and AM/FM adapter. Follow exact Alpine mounting/interface instructions including speed output, correct supplied fixings and ventilation. A safe screen position must be verified on the actual dashboard; no universal clearance or factory-function retention is promised. No factory USB retention or DAB aerial is included. Use the separate INE-F904D/DC display-position and clearance instructions; compatibility does not confirm safe dashboard fit or map-update entitlements.

  • Optional separate Alpine DAB aerial *

    KAE-242DA is a separate active DAB aerial, not included in the kit or receiver. Check glass suitability, earth connection, reception and airbag-safe cable routing; enable DAB Antenna Power for this active aerial. An existing antenna needs its own verified connection; the AM/FM adapter does not retain DAB. Aerial installation is not automatically included in the standard stereo fitting charge.

  • Polo equipment and dashboard details for screen-fit assessment *

    Confirm production month/year, white MFD, original radio without CAR, standard unamplified audio and no original camera. Describe dashboard vents, hazard/HVAC controls, gauges, gear selector and steering movement; dashboard and connector photos and physical installer trial-fit are required before approval. Tell us if factory USB retention is wanted: it is not included.

  • This is a conditional component option, not a guarantee of safe fit on every Polo dashboard. Before installation, a qualified installer must verify screen height/depth/tilt, secure mounting, ventilation and no obstruction of airbags, hazards, controls, gauges/warning indicators, driver view or gear/steering travel. Do not fit if no safe position exists. Factory USB retention and universal factory-function retention are not included. Existing stereo labour is charged only once where selected; aerial installation, coding, extra parts or work may require a separate quote. Use the INE-F904D/DC instructions, not F905 display dimensions.

Description

9-inch floating touchscreen with built-in navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, DAB+ and Bluetooth. Includes truck and motorhome navigation profiles; correct vehicle dimensions and restrictions must be entered, and road signage always takes precedence.

iGo Primo NextGen navigation, USB media playback and sound adjustment with digital time correction. Map versions and update entitlements must be confirmed for the supplied unit; no ongoing map subscription is included in this listing.

The floating display uses a single-DIN chassis, with dedicated secure mounting required. Check clearance around vents, switches and controls. A standard double-DIN fitting kit may not be suitable.

Supply and installation

Choose supply only or standard Swansea workshop installation, adding £160 + VAT for two hours of labour. Vehicle-specific fascias, mounting kits, wiring/CAN interfaces, aerial adapters and additional parts are separate. Confirm vehicle, model year and original stereo before booking. Compatibility and access must be checked; any additional work or charges will be agreed before proceeding.
