Configure package

A defined Halo9 receiver and fitting-kit package for selected Volkswagen Transporter T5 facelift vehicles built September 2009–June 2015. Choose the existing iLX-F905D supply-only or standard workshop-installation variation, plus the required KIT-HALO-VW303 and compatible KAE-242DA active DAB aerial. Confirm exact original equipment and physical screen clearance before ordering.

Package configuration charge £0; the receiver/installation choice and fitting components are itemised below at their current prices. The grand total including VAT is payable. This is not a free stereo, a complete factory-function-retention kit or a speaker-upgrade package. The compatible DAB aerial is a required, itemised component.

    Optional Pioneer ND-BC9 camera plus required Alpine KWE-CAM1D adapter: £163.56 including VAT (£136.30 excluding VAT) at current linked prices. Hardware only; camera fitting is separately assessed and quoted, not included in stereo/DAB fitting. New camera only, not factory-camera retention.

  • Required Alpine adapter with the selected camera *

    KWE-CAM1D connects this RCA camera to the compatible Alpine rear-camera input. Required with the camera; remove the camera to remove both items. Video adapter only, not a camera power supply or signal converter.

  • Use your vehicle-details box above to note the proposed camera position and any routing obstacles. Suitable 12V camera power, earth, reverse trigger, NTSC rear input and safe protected cable routing must be confirmed; the 10m lead is not guaranteed for every van. Camera installation is separately quoted, not included in stereo/DAB fitting, and no appointment is booked by this option. Extra work is agreed before fitting.

Configure your T5 facelift stereo package

The configuration charge is £0; the required receiver choice, fitting kit and DAB aerial are charged at their current itemised prices. Choose supply only or standard workshop installation, not both. The fitted choice includes the receiver’s two-hour stereo allowance plus the required half-hour DAB aerial service: 2.5 hours and £240 including VAT fitting in total. Exact vehicle and nine-inch screen-clearance confirmation is required. Any alternative existing-aerial retention solution requires separate verified agreement.

  • Required Halo9 receiver — choose supply only or standard workshop installation *

    Choose exactly one existing iLX-F905D variation. The fitted receiver adds £192 including VAT for two hours of stereo fitting; selecting it also requires the separately itemised half-hour DAB aerial service at £48 including VAT, once only. Standard fitting totals 2.5 hours and £240 including VAT. Appointment and vehicle suitability require confirmation. Non-standard aerial, coding, trim or unusual work is separately agreed. No speaker labour is included.

  • Required KIT-HALO-VW303 fitting components *

    Exact kit for the approved T5 facelift equipment configuration, with direct Alpine CAN-UART. No extra universal patch lead. Verify original radio, white MFD, connectors, mounting and safe screen clearance; no factory USB, amplified audio or original-camera integration is included by this package.

  • Required active DAB aerial *

    KAE-242DA is included as a required itemised package component. Check glazing, earth connection and airbag-safe routing; enable active antenna power. An alternative existing-aerial retention solution requires separate verified agreement. Standard half-hour aerial fitting is included through the separate required service only when the fitted receiver is selected; supply-only includes no installation.

  • Required standard DAB aerial installation with the fitted stereo *

    Half an hour of standard DAB aerial fitting, £40 + VAT (£48 including VAT), added once only when the supplied receiver’s standard workshop installation is selected. Together with the receiver’s two-hour allowance this is 2.5 hours (£240 including VAT) of standard fitting. Non-standard access, routing or additional work is quoted and agreed separately.

  • Required T5 build date, original radio and dashboard details *

    Provide production month/year, original radio, MFD colour, dashboard/connector details and any factory amplifier or camera. Only selected T5 facelift September 2009–June 2015, white MFD, no CAR button, matching Quadlock, standard unamplified audio and no original camera. Photos and actual installer screen-clearance confirmation are required before approval.

  • The actual vehicle needs qualified checks for airbags, hazard switch, controls, gauges, ventilation, visibility, gear selector and steering clearance. Do not install if unsafe. A model listing does not certify physical fit. No factory USB, camera or amplified-audio retention is included. Standard installation, if selected, includes two hours stereo plus half an hour DAB aerial fitting, subject to confirmation; non-standard work is separately agreed and speaker labour is excluded. No automatic shipping exemption is promised.

Defined package contents

One Alpine iLX-F905D Halo9 receiver in the selected supply-only or existing standard workshop-installation variation, and one Alpine KIT-HALO-VW303 fitting kit. The kit provides the specified fascia/pocket, mounting hardware, Quadlock connection and direct Alpine CAN-UART interface; no extra universal steering-control patch lead is required. The phantom-feed AM/FM antenna adapter is not a DAB aerial.

Required linked components use their current individual prices. The £0 configuration line only groups the charged items; no discount is claimed. Photographs show the actual receiver and fitting kit separately.

Restricted T5 facelift configuration

Selected Transporter T5 facelift vehicles built September 2009–June 2015 only: white multifunction display, original radio without a CAR button, matching Quadlock, standard unamplified audio and no original camera. Provide production date and original radio/dashboard/connector details before approval. This does not establish a package for earlier T5, T6 or T6.1 vehicles, Dynaudio/amplified systems, RGB cameras or every factory function.

Actual nine-inch screen clearance is essential

A qualified installer must inspect the actual dashboard and proposed screen position for safe clearance of airbags, hazard switch, controls, gauges, ventilation, visibility, gear selector and steering operation. A model listing or another vehicle installation does not certify physical fit. Do not install if any safety-critical control, airbag or view is obstructed. Follow the exact Alpine receiver/kit manuals, mounting and speed-output wiring requirements; no universal no-modification promise is made.

Installation choice and additional work

The fitted selection includes the existing two-hour stereo fitting increment of £192 including VAT plus one required half-hour standard DAB aerial installation allowance of £48 including VAT. Total standard installation is 2.5 hours and £240 including VAT, charged once. Its stated scope and appointment/vehicle confirmation still apply. Additional interfaces, coding, unusual wiring, trim work or aerial routing beyond the standard allowance must be quoted and agreed before work. No speaker or pillar installation is included. Supply only includes no labour. Do not assume delivery is waived merely because an installation variation is selected.

USB, DAB and factory equipment

Factory USB retention is not included. Use the receiver USB extension as specified: USB1 provides the supported data/Android Auto connection, USB2 is charging only. Existing sockets and adapters require their own exact compatibility check; no universal phone-function retention is promised.

One compatible Alpine KAE-242DA active DAB aerial is included as a required linked component. Confirm glazing suitability, earth connection and airbag-safe routing and enable active antenna power. An exact existing-aerial retention solution may replace it only after vehicle-specific verification; standard DAB aerial installation is included only with the fitted selection, not supply only. Original microphones, GPS antennas, camera connections and factory menus need their own assessment; no blanket retention or MFD navigation-arrow promise is made.

Reuse suitable original parts where safe and compatible; replacements are only required where the actual vehicle needs them. Never remove a required safety indicator. All displayed component prices include VAT; stock/order acceptance, compatibility and appointment availability require confirmation.

Base package price excluding VAT: £1,054.72 (supply-only). Optional extras are not included. With the standard installation option: £1,254.72 excluding VAT.
