MotorMax describes Double Engage as temporarily disabling the sensors when reverse is selected twice within three seconds. Follow the supplied operating instructions and confirm the sensors are active again when needed. Confirm the exact sensor heads, finish, controller, wiring and pack contents before supply. The current supplier table conflicts with older manufacturer specifications, so drilling dimensions, paintability and electrical requirements must be checked against the supplied parts and current instructions.
Installation and suitability
Professional installation, adjustment and functional testing are required. Check vehicle suitability, bumper construction, mounting positions, power and wiring before fitting. Parking sensors are a driver aid and cannot guarantee detection of every object. Continue to check surroundings while manoeuvring. Installation is separate.
