The Connects2 CTAKIBT001 adds A2DP music streaming, hands-free calling and an auxiliary audio input to a compatible original Kia radio through its 8-pin OEM CD-changer connection. It is not an FM transmitter or a replacement radio.

Check the original radio before purchase

Original application guidance identifies Kia vehicles from 2004 with the matching 8-pin OEM CD-changer port. This describes a specific legacy radio connection, not every model, trim or later Kia. Your installer must verify the original radio identity, available CD-changer port, connector layout and matching vehicle harness before ordering. This is not the 13-pin CTAKIBT002; connector count alone should not be used to assume electronic compatibility.

Offered kit and illustration

One CTAKIBT001 interface kit with vehicle connection harness and wired microphone. The supplier promotional image is a generic product-family illustration, not proof of the exact Kia connector supplied. A smartphone, radio, auxiliary device and installation are not included.

Legacy compatibility

Streaming and calls require a compatible device and appropriate Bluetooth functions. Compatibility with every current phone, operating system, application or service is not guaranteed. No Bluetooth version, USB music playback, charging performance, universal steering-control operation or complete retention of every original radio function is promised. Have the installer confirm the intended connection and device functions before purchase.
