The Directed 520T is an auxiliary backup battery system intended to help maintain power to a compatible vehicle alarm and trigger that alarm if the main vehicle battery is disconnected. It is not a complete alarm, a starter or jump-start battery, or a dashcam power pack.

The offered system consists of one sealed lead-acid backup battery, the 520T control module and wiring loom shown. The manufacturer specifies a 12V DC, 0.7Ah battery. These are model specifications, not a measurement or guarantee of the condition, charge state or runtime of an individual stored battery. No guaranteed protection duration, current capacity for added accessories, or universal alarm compatibility is claimed.
