Description

ETON UG MB 100 RX is a vehicle-specific rear-door coaxial speaker pair, not a complete vehicle audio system.

Supplied unit

One stereo set comprising two 100mm coaxial speakers with integrated 15mm tweeters and matching tweeter filtering. The midrange/coaxial speaker impedance is 4 ohms. Amplifier, bass speakers, MB XHP high-pass filters and vehicle trim parts are not included.

Restricted application

The manufacturer’s July 2023 compatibility matrix lists this model for the rear-door positions of left-hand-drive Mercedes-Benz C-Class W205 saloon and S205 estate, from 2014. This is a chassis-specific reference, not an open-ended promise for later C-Class generations. Right-hand-drive suitability is not established by that matrix and is not promised by this listing.

Before purchase, have your installer confirm the exact chassis, build year, left/right-hand-drive configuration, body style, original audio system, mounting locations, connectors, space and trim requirements. Do not order on the basis of the C-Class name or speaker diameter alone. Other Mercedes models and positions are outside this listing’s stated fitment. Existing factory amplification and equalisation must be assessed; universal plug-and-play compatibility is not promised.

Essential filtering

These are midrange/tweeter speakers, not bass replacements. The original manual requires appropriate high-pass filtering and warns against operating the system below 150Hz. If suitable active high-pass filtering is not provided, the separately available ETON MB XHP high-pass filters are required. The manual specifies one MB XHP per door installation; have the installer establish the correct filtering arrangement for the actual speaker positions. The supplied tweeter filtering does not replace this requirement. Required filters, any additional mounting/trim parts and installation are extra.
