This listing supplies one Viper 862V replacement remote handset. This is the two-way LED remote variant, not the LCD-screen version. Status indication depends on the correctly matched existing alarm installation.

Matching replacement only

It is offered for replacing a confirmed existing 862V on a compatible Viper 386V or 586V installation. Before ordering, a qualified installer must check the original remote part number, the alarm model and revision, regional version and fitted receiver. A similar-looking remote or a shared Viper name is not sufficient confirmation.

No upgrade between one-way, LED two-way and LCD variants is promised. No radio-frequency specification, operating-range claim or interchangeability with other remote model numbers is made. Vehicle functions remain dependent on the existing alarm and its installation.

Supplied item and programming

One remote handset only. No alarm module, receiver, installation, programming or pairing service is included. The installer must confirm any programming requirements and the correct battery before use; a particular battery type or additional accessory is not promised.
