Connects a compatible legacy 30-pin iPod to the original factory radio through its external CD-changer connection. Supports music playback, supported track control and charging of compatible devices.

Music files and operation

For compatible legacy Apple 30-pin devices only. Confirm your exact iPod generation and charging requirements before purchase. This is not a Lightning or USB-C interface, USB-storage player, Bluetooth hands-free kit, CarPlay or Android Auto upgrade. No modern iPhone compatibility or song-title display on the factory radio is promised.

Compatibility

Ford Visteon 5000C or 6000CD original radio with the volume control in the CENTRE and the matching Quadlock connection: Focus (2004–2011), C-Max (2003–2011), Fiesta (2006–2008), and selected Mondeo installations from 2003. Not for earlier 4050/5000/6000/7000 twin-flat-plug radios.

Installation

The original radio must have the compatible external CD-changer connection. An existing CD changer cannot remain in use with this interface. Available controls depend on the radio and existing steering-wheel controls. Follow the supplied instructions; configuration or professional installation may be required. Check factory navigation, amplification and other installed interfaces before ordering.

What is supplied

One model-specific interface kit with vehicle connection and iPod connection lead. iPod/phone, radio and any modern-device adapter are not included.

Supply only. Contact for install price. Required wiring, adapters, mounting work and labour are quoted after assessing your vehicle. We fit equipment supplied by Lehane Autos; customer-supplied parts are not accepted. Physical delivery is calculated at checkout. Collection requires confirmed stock and an appointment.
