Description

Audio adapter for supported Volvo amplified systems, connecting the original amplifier/audio wiring to suitable RCA audio outputs on an aftermarket receiver.

Supported configurations include C70 SC-system 1997–2001, C70 amplified HU-system 2001–2006 and S40 Dolby-system 2000–2004. Other Volvo models require confirmation of the exact original audio system and connector before ordering.

This adapter does NOT provide the receiver power connection. The relevant separate Volvo power/ISO harness is also required. It is not a universal amplifier, steering-control or digital-fibre conversion interface.

One passive wiring adapter/harness, not a receiver, electronic control interface or fitting service. Check the original equipment, connectors and replacement receiver before ordering. Vehicle age alone does not guarantee compatibility. Additional adapters or professional modifications may be necessary.
