Description

Spike-series bass driver with a single 2-ohm voice coil. Its reinforced frame and vented motor are designed for an appropriately sized car-audio enclosure. This is a passive driver, not a powered bass box.

One SPK-8S2 subwoofer driver with removable grille. Enclosure and amplifier are not included.

Compatibility and installation

Requires a suitable enclosure, amplifier and low-pass filtering. Match the amplifier to the 2-ohm single-coil load and manufacturer power recommendations; do not confuse this S2 model with the alternative impedance. Check mounting depth and cut-out before ordering.
