Description

Five-channel Class-D amplifier with four full-range channels and a dedicated bass channel. Rated 100 W x 4 plus 500 W x 1 into 4 ohms, or 200 W x 4 plus 800 W x 1 into 2 ohms. An external protective fuse and holder are required; they are not built into the chassis.

One XMA-5900IR amplifier with wired remote level controller.

Compatibility and installation

Minimum load is 2 ohms per normal channel; bridged full-range channel pairs require at least 4 ohms. Dedicated subwoofer channel, where fitted, remains at least 2 ohms. Professional installation recommended. Confirm speaker power handling, total wired impedance, gain, crossover settings, ventilation and vehicle charging-system capacity. Requires correctly rated power/earth cabling, fusing and compatible audio inputs; vehicle wiring kits, speakers and subwoofers are not included. Any multi-amplifier linking must follow the exact manufacturer manual and is not a lower-load permission. Manufacturer specifies a separate 125 A protective fuse for this model; follow the manual and installation cable-protection requirements.
