    KWE-CAM1D connects this RCA camera to the compatible Alpine rear-camera input. Required with the camera; remove the camera to remove both items. Video adapter only, not a camera power supply or signal converter.

  • Use your vehicle-details box above to note the proposed camera position and any routing obstacles. Suitable 12V camera power, earth, reverse trigger, NTSC rear input and safe protected cable routing must be confirmed; the 10m lead is not guaranteed for every van. Camera installation is separately quoted, not included in stereo/DAB fitting, and no appointment is booked by this option. Extra work is agreed before fitting.

Package compatibility confirmation

Supply-only stereo and fitting components. Confirm the exact Polo equipment before ordering. Installation, factory USB retention, original cameras and amplified audio integration are not included. A KAE-242DA DAB aerial is a required itemised component. Glazing, power and safe routing require checking; an alternative existing-aerial retention solution must be separately verified.

If requesting installation, also describe previous modifications, access or cable-routing obstacles and the required aerial route.

  • Included components are the supply-only iLX-705D, KIT-HALO-VW303 and required KAE-242DA DAB aerial. Direct Alpine CAN-UART is included; no extra universal patch lead is required. No installation, factory USB retention, original camera or amplified-system integration is included. Use the receiver USB extension; USB1 is data/Android Auto and USB2 charging only. The DAB aerial is a required charged component; an alternative retained-aerial route requires separate verified agreement. Qualified installation must follow exact mounting, speed-output wiring and safety instructions. Do not install until the actual vehicle, dashboard and connectors have been checked.

    KAE-242DA is included as a required separately itemised package component. Check glass suitability, earth connection and airbag-safe cable routing; enable active DAB antenna power.     Requesting a quotation adds no installation charge, does not book an appointment and does not include free fitting. Standard fitting of this supplied stereo and aerial allows 2 hours for the stereo plus 0.5 hour for the DAB aerial: 2.5 hours (£240 including VAT), subject to the actual vehicle, dashboard, obstacles and agreed scope. Non-standard routing, extra parts or additional labour are quoted and agreed before work.

What this package includes

  • One Alpine iLX-705D receiver, supplied without installation, linked to the existing supply-only product variation.
  • One Alpine KIT-HALO-VW303 fitting kit with its direct Alpine CAN-UART connection. No extra universal steering-control patch lead is required.

The receiver, kit and compatible DAB aerial are mandatory linked components. Their current individual prices are itemised in the configurator and basket; no package discount is claimed. Images show the actual receiver and fitting components separately, not additional equipment.

Exact vehicle and factory-equipment checks

This configuration is restricted to selected Volkswagen Polo 6R built June 2009–March 2014 with a white multifunction display, an original radio without a CAR button, matching Quadlock connection, standard unamplified audio and no original reversing camera. Provide production date, original-radio details and dashboard/connector photos for compatibility confirmation. Model name or registration year alone is not sufficient.

Do not assume compatibility with amplified/premium factory systems, factory cameras, different displays or connectors, or other Polo generations. Dashboard trim, available depth, wiring and safe installation must be checked on the actual vehicle. Follow the receiver and fitting-kit installation manuals, including the relevant speed-output wiring requirements. No blanket retention of factory menus, navigation arrows, cameras or audio functions is promised.

USB and DAB provision

Factory USB retention is not included. Use the receiver USB extension as specified: USB1 supports the stated data/Android Auto connection; USB2 is charging only. Do not assume a factory socket or separate adapter preserves all functions.

One Alpine KAE-242DA active DAB aerial is included as a required linked component unless an exact existing-aerial retention solution has first been verified for this vehicle. For the included active aerial, check glazing suitability, earth connection and airbag-safe cable routing and enable active DAB antenna power. Aerial installation is not included in the supply-only price; the installation quote uses the standard half-hour aerial allowance alongside the supplied stereo.

Supply-only hardware and installation quote

The displayed package total remains for the supplied hardware: the request adds £0 and is not free installation, a paid fitting service or an appointment booking. The standard allowance for this supplied stereo and DAB aerial is two hours of stereo fitting plus half an hour of standard DAB aerial installation (£240 including VAT in total). The actual vehicle, access, cable routes and other obstacles must be assessed; any additional labour, parts or charges will be quoted and agreed before work starts.

No installation labour is included in this package. Qualified installation and any additional interfaces, coding, cables, replacement trim or non-standard work require a separate assessment and quotation. Do not purchase replacement vehicle parts automatically where suitable original parts can safely be reused; never remove a required safety indicator or compromise airbags, controls or visibility.

Compatibility confirmation is required before installation. Stock/order acceptance and delivery remain subject to confirmation; the displayed current component prices include VAT. The £0 package-configuration line is only a grouping line: the receiver, fitting kit and DAB aerial are charged components and the grand total is payable.
