Camera installation - subject to compatibility

Optional installation with a compatible stereo at our Swansea workshop: 2 hours labour (£160 + VAT / £192 including VAT). Subject to vehicle/stereo compatibility and installation circumstances. Any additional adapters, parts or labour will be quoted and agreed before proceeding. Contact us before ordering to confirm compatibility.

Vehicle-specific brake-light camera

Selected Volkswagen Caddy 2013–2020 vehicles with the matching original brake-light housing, for compatible barn-door or tailgate configurations. Not a Caddy 5 camera. Check the actual production date, body/door style, original light shape and mounting, and connectors before ordering. This is not a blanket fit for every conversion, motorhome or later facelift.

The camera viewing position is adjustable by 20 degrees to suit a verified installation.

A compatible monitor or head unit is required and is not included. Verify composite-video format, RCA camera input, 12 V supply and reverse-trigger requirements. A factory display may require a separate vehicle-specific interface or coding; this camera is not a universal OEM-display plug-and-play solution. Protect and secure all cable connections and retain correct operation of the brake light.

A reversing camera is a manoeuvring aid, not a substitute for checking the surroundings. Confirm the image orientation and guide-line settings before use.

Supply and conditional installation

The displayed base price is supply only. The optional standard installation selection adds £192 including VAT (£160 + VAT) for two hours of labour at our Swansea workshop, with a compatible stereo and a confirmed standard fitting route. Contact us before selecting installation to confirm your exact vehicle, display and routing requirements. Additional interfaces, adapters, cabling, coding or non-standard van/conversion work are quoted separately. The option is not a promise of all-inclusive fitting in every vehicle.
