Description

Original Kenwood XS Series component system

  • Two nominal 17 cm woofers
  • Two separate swivel tweeter assemblies
  • 45 W RMS / 180 W peak per channel; 4-ohm nominal impedance
  • Supplied speaker cables, tweeter spacers and installation brackets
  • Woofer mounting depth: 57 mm; cut-out: 142 mm

This is the exact KFC-XS1704 model supplied as new stock. Kenwood lists this original model as discontinued; it is not a claim of the latest XS generation or an interchangeable XR-series kit.

Vehicle fitment is not universal. Confirm mounting diameter and pattern, depth, window/trim clearance, factory connectors, audio configuration and suitable tweeter locations before ordering. Supplied brackets do not guarantee compatibility with every vehicle. Additional vehicle-specific adaptation may be required.

Follow the original kit wiring instructions and retain the supplied filtering/connections. Do not connect separate tweeter units directly to unfiltered full-range outputs. Match the source or amplifier to the stated impedance and power requirements. These are passive speakers; an amplifier, stereo and installation are not included.
