System design and wiring

An external amplifier and correctly designed enclosure are required and are not included. Follow the exact model manual for enclosure volume, tuning, clearances and filtering. Series wiring of both 1-ohm coils gives 2 ohms; parallel gives 0.5 ohm, which is below the safe minimum of many amplifiers. Do not use the parallel configuration unless the amplifier is expressly rated for that load. Professional assessment of electrical supply, wiring and circuit protection is required. This is not a powered enclosure or a marine driver.
