Vehicle-specific interface to retain supported factory steering-wheel audio controls when installing a compatible aftermarket head unit.

Factory connector and audio configuration must be verified. Confirm the exact vehicle, build year, original head unit, amplified/non-amplified equipment and physical connectors before ordering.

Selected supported applications

• Mazda 2 DE, 2007–2014, Panasonic original head unit
• Mazda MX-5 NB/NC, 1999–2015, Panasonic original head unit; not ND

Date, time and temperature display functions are NOT supported by this interface. The MX-5 application here is NB/NC only, not ND. Other applications must be checked against the current manufacturer matrix rather than assumed from the Mazda badge.

A suitable head-unit-specific patch lead is required and sold separately. Select it for the exact aftermarket radio brand/model and compatible steering-control input. No free patch lead, radio, fascia, antenna adapter or complete fitting kit is included. Phone-button and display-function retention vary by vehicle and head unit; confirm the required functions before purchase.

Check the official Connects2 application information. Factory options and production changes can alter compatibility even within listed years.
