Installation & compatibility

Where installation is selected or included, fitting takes place at our Swansea workshop; mobile callouts are not included unless expressly agreed. The price covers the work and components stated in the listing, subject to vehicle compatibility and condition. Pre-existing faults, previous modifications, software differences or difficult access (including on some electric/hybrid vehicles) may require additional diagnostics, parts or labour; we will explain and agree any extra charges with you before proceeding. If the advertised installation cannot be completed, we will discuss suitable alternatives or a refund for the unprovided installation. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Description

The Autowatch CANbot GPS locating system adds app-connected tracking and remote functions to a compatible vehicle. CANbot requires an Autowatch Ghost II or newer immobiliser; it is not a standalone tracker. On a confirmed compatible installation, it can provide:

  • GPS location and history
  • Notifications of possible theft attempts through the app when connected to the internet, including incorrect code entry or an aftermarket alarm trigger such as a 695 CANbus alarm
  • Forced blocking mode on or off
  • Ignition status and battery voltage
  • Temperature, speed, RPM and fuel level where supported by the vehicle CANbus
  • Remote vehicle locking and unlocking where supported by the vehicle and CANbus installation
  • Remote activation and deactivation of Ghost service mode

App demo: Download “Autowatch Ghost Link” from Google Play or the Apple App Store, then tap “Demo” at the bottom left of the app.

Fitted package: £399 including VAT. This includes professional fitting and the first year’s annual subscription. Autowatch will invoice the customer directly for year two onwards at £84 + VAT per year.
